Hello! Welcome to my little blog. I have worked long and hard to get to this point. I started this journey in September last year, when my youngest, Walter, was finally starting to go to bed a bit earlier and I had (some) free time in the evenings again!

I’ve always been a creep. Er, I should clarify. I’ve always been a creep on food blogging sites. I have always been fascinated by the different writing styles of bloggers and the whole process of creating a recipe, capturing it and sharing it with the world. I had never actually considered doing it myself until about a year ago, when I was feeling like I really needed a creative outlet in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my life as a Mom but playdough and hot wheels just wasn’t cutting it. I made it my goal to be up and running by January 30th of this year and, well, here we are!

Call it a New Year’s Resolution of sorts. Do you have any goals that you’re working hard at? I would love to hear about it.

I’d like to kick off this blogging journey with you by promising a couple of things:

  1. To always be real. Life is not always sunshine and lollipops (that song will now be stuck in my head for the rest of the day).
  2. To do my best to keep the content flowing and listen to what you, the readers (or read-ER, considering this is my first post) want to see.

Well, thank you SO much for taking time out of your precious day to read what I have to say. Let’s chat again soon, ok?!

I’m going to put the computer down, the TV on and grab a bowl of my Friday night Domino Popcorn. Have I mentioned how well it goes with a glass of wine?

Heeey! Thank you for stopping by! I like 30-minute dinners and giant peanut butter cups made with only 3 ingredients. I LOVE food! If you do too, you're in the right place.
