Satisfy those chocolate cravings with fudgy Nutella brownies! You won’t find a brownie recipe any easier than this one for 3 ingredient Nutella brownies!
Well, January is nearly over, and I have yet to post any recipes for Valentine’s Day. I know it’s not a favorite holiday for many of you, but I love it – especially the fun treats that are usually involved. Did you know I have a whole category on the blog dedicated to V-Day!?
Lately, I keep seeing pictures of brownies on my Instagram feed and I figured it was HIGH time I posted another brownie recipe. And since this blog is all about the 3 ingredient recipes, I knew I wanted to post a 3 ingredient brownie recipe!! These Nutella brownies are AMAZING – not only because they are ridiculously easy, but because they are fudgy and delicious. Love!
Seriously, possibly my new favorite way to make brownies!
How do you make Nutella brownies?
For these 3 ingredient beauties, you need:
- Nutella – 1 whole 13oz jar
- flour
- eggs
- pinch of salt
The recipe goes as follows: Mix all ingredients together. Bake. Voila! It is seriously that easy.
Bake the brownies for 18-20 minutes, until the middle is no longer jiggly and the edges begin to pull away from the sides. If you like your brownies gooey, you definitely want to take them out JUST as the middle sets. They’ll continue to cook a bit after you remove them from the oven.
These brownies are perfect just as they are, but I LOVE my brownies with frosting.
How do you make Nutella frosting?
This super easy frosting consists of only melted chocolate and more Nutella. Sooo smooth!
I like to frost the brownies just as they’ve cooled off a bit, but are still warm. Use a spatula to spread the warm frosting all over the brownies and then do your best to leave it to set (I’m not good at that part).
Cut the bars into 16 squares and enjoy! They’re SO yummy.
Can you double this recipe?
Very easily! Double all of the ingredients, and spread the batter out into a 9 x 13″ pan instead. Baking time remains the same!
Can you freeze 3 ingredient Nutella brownies?
YES – but I highly recommend freezing them unfrosted. The brownies will keep for up to 2 months in a freezer-safe container – just thaw them overnight in the fridge and then frost the next day (if you want).
I find it pretty hard to not eat the whole batch, so I don’t have any reason to freeze them 😉
Can you use homemade Nutella for these brownies?
Although I have not tried this recipe with my homemade Nutella YET, I do plan on it, so I will update this post once I give it a try. If you try it before I do, let me know how it worked out in the comments below! I suspect it’ll work out just fine, but it’ll taste more nutty and delicious.
Since it’s Valentine’s Day coming up, I hope you’ll keep this recipe in mind for a tasty treat for your loved ones!!
Enjoy!

Description
Satisfy those chocolate cravings with fudgy Nutella brownies! You won’t find a brownie recipe any easier than this one for 3 ingredient Nutella brownies!
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 13 oz Nutella (1 jar)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt
Nutella Frosting
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and line an 8 x 8″ baking pan with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 eggs for about 15 seconds, until frothy. Add the Nutella, flour and salt and stir everything together with a large mixing spoon.
- Empty the batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. The sides of the brownies should begin to pull away from the parchment, and the middle should not be too wiggly. Remove the brownies and allow them to cool for a 10 minutes before frosting (optional).
- Prepare the Nutella frosting. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Remove and add the Nutella, stirring everything together. Microwave again for 15 seconds, then stir until smooth. Use a spatula to spread the warm frosting over the warm brownies. Allow everything to cool and set for 20 minutes before slicing into 16 bars and serving.
Leftover brownies can be kept at room temperature for 3-4 days in an airtight container. Unfrosted brownies may be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before frosting.
Notes
*The recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9×13″ pan.
