Description

Blend up some of that juicy watermelon this summer and turn it into an easy watermelon margarita! This frozen watermelon margarita will keep you and your guests cool in the heat this summer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped fresh watermelon
  • 1 1/2 cup ice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (~1 lime)
  • 3 oz tequila
  • 2 oz triple sec

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in the blender, in the order listed above. Blend on high for 1 minute, or until the mixture is completely blended together. Serve immediately, in a salt-rimmed glass.

Keep leftovers in the freezer for 1 hour; blend quickly before serving the remainder.*

Notes

*I’ve also poured leftover margarita into an ice cube tray, and then popped out the frozen cubes of margarita into the blender for a quick treat!
