Description
Perfect for game day or just a perfect party dip, this spicy dill pickle dip combines real dill pickle flavour with just the right amount of spice! It’s delicious with chips, crackers or even as a sauce for tacos or burritos!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (8oz) full fat cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp pickle juice
- 2 tbsp hot sauce*
- 1 cup finely chipped dill pickles
Instructions
- In a large bowl using a wooden spoon, mash and stir the cream cheese until it is smooth and there are no visible lumps.**
- Once smooth, add the Greek yogurt and stir until both are thoroughly combined together. Add in the garlic powder, pickle juice and hot sauce and stir until the dip is smooth and “dippable”. Next, gently fold in the chopped dill pickles. Note: If you are using a food processor for this recipe, you will want to add the chopped dill pickles by hand.
The dip can be enjoyed immediately, but it will thicken up if you place it in the fridge for a few hours before serving!
Notes
*I like to use Frank’s Red Hot sauce but you can just use your favourite!
**You can also make this recipe using a food processor, but only use it up until the addition of the chopped pickles, after which complete by hand.
