Switch your s’mores game up this summer with these 3 ingredient s’moreos! You can even make them inside the oven so you can enjoy them any time!
- 10 double-stuff Oreos (or regular Oreos)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 10 regular-sized marshmallows*
- Separate the Oreos in half, keeping the icing on one side as much as possible. Lay out the open Oreos on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Add about 3 chocolate chips on the frosted side, and about 5 chocolate chips on the un-frosted side. Add a marshmallow on top of each of the frosted side.
- Place the baking tray under the broiler in the oven turned to low. Broil for 4-5 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden and toasty and the chocolate chips are melted. Remove the tray from the oven and place the two halves together. Serve immediately!
If you don’t finish the s’moreos while warm, you can save them for later. Keep them at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
*If the marshmallows seem way too big for the Oreos, cut them in half. A giant oozy marshmallow is delicious but it won’t be as pretty!
**Try placing the marshmallows vertically on top of the Oreo half instead of horizontally to have it fit nicer on the small cookie.
